“Let us forget ‘I am a Hindu, you are a Muslim’ or ‘I am a Gujarati, you a Madrasi.’ Let us sink ‘I’ and ‘mine’ in a Common Indian Nationality.

Sansthakul is published in New Delhi by Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, established in 1955 with the object of “conducting and promoting manifold constructive activities with which Mahatma Gandhi was associated during his lifetime.”

This issue from 1978 includes an annual report on the activities of Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, a call for a 30 year review of Gandhian thought and activity and an article about rural sanitation.

The Commonweal Collection includes around 300 copies of Sansthakul published between 1976 and 1997. We have a large Gandhi section (G) in the Collection, 0ther materials about Gandhi and his ideas can be found on the catalogue here.
