Join Commonweal at a monthly gathering to hear more about the month’s theme, explore the Collection in more depth and meet other people interested in social change. Share ideas and resources, discuss what’s important to you, and find inspiration from others.

Student Engagement Stalls

A stall in the library corridor each month facilitates discussion with students and staff about what Commonweal is, the ideas in the Collection and the month’s themes. Commonweal also has a regular presence at Freshers Fairs and other University events. Look out for information here and on social media about upcoming stalls.

 

Nonviolent Direct Action Reading Group

Join Commonweal at the Peace Museum to consider how writers over the decades have assessed the success, failures and potential of nonviolent direct action. The group will meet monthly at The Peace Museum. More information, and register here.
